UH Studio developed a bespoke Corian reception desk for Arteks Engineering’s sales office in Sofia. Parametric modelling and 360° visual review supported decisions about its patterned surface, proportions, seating, internal structure and lighting shadow gaps.

The Decorative Stone Panel contains a highly concise and precisely developed pattern, tested via numerous iterations. VR 360° images were developed and presented to allow the client to "feel" the proper scale of the space and the design with Oculus VR goggles. The immersive experience helped the client pick the most appropriate design.
The design process involves viewing the Reception Desk from all important angles at the same time. This is only possible with advanced 3d modelling software that shows any sudden change appearing from all important angles. This type of design workflow significantly improves the final product.
