NPR Headquarters

In collaboration with Bloomfield and Associates in Philadelphia, UH Studio was responsible for delivering recording studios for National Public Radio’s new headquarters in Washington DC. As subcontractors to the main architecture firm, the whole project needed to be delivered in BIM with Revit, making the design progress especially challenging, yet opportunistic, due to the inherent acoustic requirement for radio studios – no right angles.
